Buying Hours

You can simply buy hours-in-the-air if you want to forward plan your expenditure. It's more expensive than other ways of getting in the air, but it's risk free. Ideal for those of you who don't want to fly very much.

We sell hours in two ways:

1. Upfront in units of 10 hours, or
2. At time of booking for what you use.

Naturally, we can vary the package to suit you, so don't be afraid to ask, but here are our usual tariff rates:

Upfront (10 flying hours)

Agusta A109 - £9,000
Robinson R44 - £2,400
Robinson R22 - £1,200

Pay-as-you-fly, per flying hour

Agusta A109 - £1,000
Robinson R44 - £260
Robinson R22 - £135

Additional Charges

Fuel and Landing Fees
It is up to you to pay for the fuel and the landing fees. If you would like us to, we will, but there is a 5% administration fee to be added to the costs incurred. Fuel and landing fees must be settled during or immediately after the hire period finishes.

Pilot Services
Should you require a commercial or safety pilot, please ask. Costs will vary depending on your requirements. As a guide, a fully qualified commercial pilot will cost in the region of £500 a day. A safety pilot will cost in the region of £75 per flying hour.

Deals are always available so just ask - sometimes you can go with someone else and they won't charge a penny, especially if you are taking them somewhere nice!

Away for a while?
We actively encourage our pilots and hirers to go on trips away. Usually we don't make any extra charges for aircraft that are away for a week or so. You still simply pay for the flying you do.

What are my payment options?

Also you may want to finance your aircraft and we'd be more than happy to recommend finance partners.
